The Story
From the age of six, Chef Christopher Georges, has been deeply passionate about food and cooking. His love for culinary arts was ignited by the diverse array of foods from different cultures that he encountered at a young age watching many food shows on his favorite channel Food Network. Each dish told a story, and he was fascinated by how food could convey the essence of a culture and bring people together. This early inspiration set the foundation for his lifelong journey in the culinary world, going from being on his way to Med school to deciding to change course and follow his true life's dream to be a Chef and going to Culinary School.
Even throughout his time studying Culinary Arts, he was always driven by the goal of using food to provide comfort and a sense of home to people from all walks of life. He believes that a well-prepared meal has the power to transcend cultural boundaries and create a shared experience of joy and satisfaction. This belief was the guiding principle behind every dish he created, and became the cornerstone of Legacy Catering.
Vision
Starting Legacy Catering was a natural progression of his passion and dedication to the culinary arts. He wanted to create a business that not only offers exceptional food but also brings people together through the universal language of taste and honors the LEGACY of the family he comes and those that came before him as well as building a Legacy of his own to leave for the family he is building with his wife Dr. Gabrielle Georges. By combining the versatility of a food truck with the personalized service of event catering, he aims to reach a wider audience and provide memorable dining experiences that leave a lasting impression.
